Self-Sponsorship via UK Business Setup

The term “self-sponsorship” refers to a lawful immigration structure where an individual establishes or operates a UK company that obtains a Sponsor Licence and sponsors them under the Skilled Worker route.

There is no standalone “self-sponsorship visa.” Applicants must meet all requirements of the Skilled Worker route and Sponsor Licence framework under UK immigration law.

This route may be suitable for entrepreneurs, company directors or business owners who intend to operate a genuine UK business while undertaking a qualifying skilled role. We assist clients around the globe for the Self-Sponsorship route to the UK.
